Naming Ceremonies


 

What does the Celebrant do?

I will attend to all the paperwork, assist you to write a ceremony to suit your needs and conduct a Baby Naming Ceremony.

 

What are the Legal requirements and what do we do next?

There are no legal requirements for a Naming.

It is desirable that you choose 2 people to be either Godparents/ or
Guardians (Mentors) for your child.

A deposit will be needed at this time, with the final payment at least 2 weeks before the naming.

 

What is the Cost?

The Fee is just $250 for the services, and $50 for travel to Sydney or Hunter areas from my home.
Travel time  and other incidental (e.g. parking, water taxi to or from venue,) are extra’s and are your cost.

 

What do we get for our Fee?

Your final fee will include your initial visit, completion of paper work,

A Ceremony Guide to assist you to make your choices and to help you to write your own ceremony,

also it includes:

-  the use of a cedar lectern

- candles with name and date of Ceremony

- gift for the child

- and Special Certificates for yourselves, Godparents and Grandparents.

- plus your selected Ceremony printed into a memento booklet, including pages on the back for guests to sign
